The Aerie at Copper Mountain

Winner of the National ENR Best of the Best Projects 2025
Situated at 11,000 feet at the top of the American Eagle lift, Copper Mountain’s Aerie features cafeteria style dining, a formal restaurant, a café and two bars, all with commanding views of the Colorado Rockies. The design for this facility was conceived in conjunction with the resort’s new American Eagle lift with the goal of creating a seamless, year-round and one-of-a-kind mountain resort experience. The building site has views in three directions, south facing and up slope, across the ski terrain and downslope to the valley below. The upper-level bar opens to a south facing patio, transitioning from indoors to out and reinforcing the feeling of being on top of the world.
